Which kinda makes me laugh...
Why would we want to spend thousands on furniture when we move a lot? (Thank you, Army)
Why would we do that when we know that we want to have kiddos who will more than
likely bang up our furniture? (& lets be honest, we bang up our furniture a lot too!)
So people can laugh all they want but I think we are smart.
Plus in my opinion, the majority of their pieces offer up a really great, modern contemporary base
for the rest of our vintage, handmade & non-IKEA decor to really stand out.
When you combine what we had before we moved & what we've purchased since,
I think it is pretty safe to say that there is at least one thing from IKEA in every room of our house.
(& we are very, very happy about that... we love our IKEA furniture & such!)

Want to see what we've been putting together lately? Take a look...
Last but not least the Klingsbo Side Table
Oh & please don't ask me how to really say any of the names of our pieces by the way...
I pretty much butcher them every time I even try to say them. Tee hee hee.

I need that drawer dresser!
ReplyDeletesigh....if only Ikea were closer. I miss it terribly.
Happy wednesday!
I've decided the funnest part of going to Ikea is trying to pronounce all the silly names. I'm sure I annoy the helpless shopping helper/victim that comes along with me, but it's so fun!
ReplyDeleteIt appears I'm a master at self entertainment. Ha!
IKEA is great! I'm so glad they made one in Tampa. I love their frames and lighting the most. They have fun designs and it costs a lot less than other places!
ReplyDeleteI miss IKEA! Hubby and I loved it there. We'll be near one soon in a couple of years!
ReplyDeleteI agree! Our Ikea's right down the road + we go often. I love mixing Ikea pieces with other finds, and I get SO much inspiration from the store + catalog.
