been doing every day- basking in the glow of baby bliss... 

To say that Gracelyn is the most awesome thing that has 

ever happened to us is an understatement.

We just love our lil' bug to pieces.

Well, happy weekend my lovebugs! 

Still no baby over here- whomp whomp waaaa.

I'm feeling very much like a beached whale these days 

& I'm definitely ready to pop like the bubbles in the above photograph!

Hopefully something magical will happen this weekend. 

If not I'm scheduled for an ultrasound & stress test Monday afternoon to 

ensure Baby Fry is still a-ok. If she is then we will keep on waiting & waiting

& if she still doesn't come on her own an induction will be scheduled for next weekend. 

So we will just keep on waiting & I'm going to start doing jumping jacks 

per the sister-in-law's suggestion to see if we can get things moving- LOL.

Well the hospital bag is packed. Actually it has been for a while, maybe I've jinxed myself? 

Her due date is today (the 26th) & while there have been plenty of "signs", braxton hicks contractions

 & attempts at old wives tales to induce labor on my part, it looks like Baby Fry just isn't ready. 

Can't say I blame her, the world is a pretty crazy place.

 Crazier than ever it seems. I can see why she'd like to stay 

warm, cozy, safe & innocent in my womb.

So long story short- Happy weekend! 

I hope you have something wonderful planned 

& I maybe, just maybe, come Monday we will have a baby.

Happy weekend lovebugs!

This is an exciting weekend in regards to Baby Fry...

First up is our hospital & birthing suite tour on Saturday. 

The Husband & I are pretty excited to walk the halls 

& get a feel for where Baby Fry will (hopefully) be born. 

Second up is the baby shower on Sunday. 

Yes, I know the date but that is all I know, I swear.

I'm really excited to see what my Momma has planned. 

Honestly, I don't even know where it is... 

all I know that I'm supposed to show up a 

bit before noon to greet guests- Yay!

What lovely things do you have planned for yourself this weekend?

There is still a nice coating of snow around these parts so I

 imagine my wellies will continue to get some good use. 

I'm also really excited because tomorrow, Baby Fry 

& I get to be models for ultrasound tech students at a 

local hospital so I'll get to see her wiggle on the 

lil' screen for a whole, glorious hour- yippie!

I haven't seen Baby Fry since October because I'm with 

a midwifery practice so they do as few ultrasounds as possible. 

So of course, I'm beyond thrilled for the opportunity to be an ob model.

Plus I've been fighting off a cold & desperately trying to coordinate 

repairs to our home from the super hail storm back in June...

Hello lovelies! I hope you have had a good week 

& have a nice weekend planned for yourself. 

I spent my week this week painting the nursery, working on the registry

 & dreaming of our what our little one will look like at various stages of her life...

Oh & I got to hear her heartbeat again today, gosh I just love the sound, so awesome!

Plus I got to bring my best girl friend along to share in the sweetness so that was great too!

As for me, I'll be working on Baby Fry's registry a bit more, who knew it would be so difficult?

 I guess that is mainly because I don't know what to expect & what we really need. 

My mom is going to help me out with that thank goodness. 

I also need to pick out a formal dress to fit me 

& my bump in a month for The Husband's fancy Army dinner...

It feels like it has been a while since I wished you that!

I'm working on a few things around the house tonight 

& spending the day with my momma tomorrow. 

We are going to buy mums for our fall decor, I'm so excited!

Oh PS- I have a few things for sale on ebay if you are interested...

I really need & want to sell my massage table, this sony cyber-shot camera 

& I'm also accepting offers on a pair of 1/4 carat diamond stud earrings given to me by an ex boyfriend. 

He paid $600 for them, I'll take 1/2 that or less- make me an offer I can't refuse!

Mine was fabulous. I sorta fell off the face of the internet which was nice...

The Husband came home on Friday after being away for two weeks

 for Army related stuff so we just basked in the glow of eachother all weekend. 

Laughing. Cuddling. Talking. Kissing & just being silly...

I love weekends like that!
