Craving.

I've been seriously craving chocolate lately...
Specifically chocolate cake.
Since I'd prefer said cake to not be from a box mix
& I also LOVE my chocolate cake cold & dense.
I'm thinking this recipe which I spotted on Poppytalk
via Jeannette of Everybody Likes Sandwiches  for a
Dead Simple Chocolate Cake might just fit the bill perfectly!
Mmmm- Yummy...
I can taste it already!

How bout' you?
Have you been craving anything lately?

Homemade Caramel Corn.

When I spotted this homemade caramel corn post over on
Emily's blog, Cupcakes & Cashmere, I nearly died...
What a simple yet super fun idea! Why have I not made it myself too?!
Seriously, you can bet I am adding this to my "to do" list for entertaining
or maybe just watching movies with The Husband as a special treat.
Head on over here for the full post & to check out
the original recipe which Emily modified go here.

Sunday Suppers.

I've been following Sunday Suppers for a while now & when my lady
Martha Stewart  did a feature article,  I thought, "Hey, I know who they are!"

I've been wanting to make some of the dishes featured in the article
& finally got around to doing  it yesterday, which was fittingly, Sunday...
The Penne Frittata with Basil & Ricotta was fabulously yummy.
Very light, super tasty & insanely easy to prepare. I will be making it again for sure!
The Meatballs with Fresh Tomato Sauce were a perfect compliment to the frittata.
Again, very easy to make & boy did it make a lot! Perfect for entertaining or left overs.
(I just ate some for lunch actually)

For the full meal (because trust me there are more dishes) head on over here

Enjoy!

Herbed Flatbread.

Considering we currently have lots of fresh herbs happily growing right outside our backdoor,
(thanks to my newly planted herb garden) I think it may be high time to bake up
a batch of this Herbed Flatbread I spotted on Sunday Suppers.
Mmmm. Yum! Those suckers look truly scrumptious doesn't they?

rarely crave barbecue chicken & I hate mayonaise but dang this
I may just have to go buy some mayo to try & whip up a batch of my own!

Can I have S'more Please?

I kinda have a lil' bit of a ridiculous love for S'mores.
Sometimes I make them in the microwave or over a stove burner
in the winter if I can't get outside to make one over a camp fire.

So when I spotted these perfect, fancy, mini S'mores over on
Oh Joy Eats, I instantly began craving them...
I don't know about you but these are officially added to my summer "To Eat" list.

Nom. Nom. Nom.

Yummy! Yummy!

Don't these just look absolutely scrumptious!?
Yeah, I thought so too when I spotted them over on She's Becoming DoughMessTic.
So I whipped them up yesterday & I gotta tell you- Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!

If you have a bit of time & want to try something new as far as brownies go,
I highly recommend you try your hand at whipping up a batch
of these fabulous Sea Salt Caramel Brownies...
(Beware of picky husbands though. Mine didn't like them. Simpleton. Tee hee hee)

Go here to grab the recipe if you'd like.
& if you make them let me know how it goes & what you think!

Message Cookies.

I wish I had thought of these Message-in-a-cookie cutters...
But thankfully Williams-Sonoma did!
How great is it that you can now personalize cookies any way you want
& not just with icing but with actual impressions!?
Woo!
Birthdays. Holidays. Weddings. Baby Showers...
Done. Done. Done. & Done!

{ First spotted on- Creature Comforts }
