Fusion Brands.

Have you seen Fusion Brands products?
Seriously really cool stuff- from the Food Pod to the Ice Orb
all of it equals awesome (in my opinion anyway).
Oh & did I mentionthe Fingertongs or the Tender Presssahweeet!
I'm lovin' it all- very useful & handy don't ya think?
Plus their website's opening sequence of videos is uber fabulous-
Go here to check it out...
Trust me- it is super fun & quirky.

If this post bores you to tears I apologize- I just really have a soft spot for cool kitchen gadgets.
Plus as I said, their website is nifty!

Scenes of Winter.

Well it is pretty obvious that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow
six more weeks of winter are in store seeing as it snowed very early this morning.
Since Piper Dog loves the snow & I have been itching to get some photos
of snow covered branches & such, we headed outside...

Did you get snow where you live?
If so, how are you spending your snow day?

To see photos of the last time it snowed go here or here

Best wedding theme ever.

A few weeks ago a high school friend of mine
married his sweetie in a trapeze style wedding at a circus school.
How ridiculously unique & just plain awesome, cute, amazing etc, no!?
They look so in love & just plain happy- the photos prove it, trust me...

Congratulations Jon & Liz!
Your wedding was perfection in my humble opinion -
intimate & all about the two of you & the people & things you love
Cheers to many, many years of wedded bliss!

Photography by Kahl Weddings
& to see some of Jon's work go here he is very talented.

Yellow Submarine.

This made me laugh out loud & then quickly
I began singing The Beatle's "Yellow Submarine" in my head...

I love tea - a good warm cup of Earl Grey with a bit-o-honey just hits the spot.
But this tea infuser would make me drink it even more frequently
not to mention it would just make me plain happy because
well it is cute & it is the little things that make me happy!

For the love of chalkboards.

I have always loved chalkboard paint &
have been longing for a place to paint it for quite a while...
I find however that most apartment landlords are not too keen
on the prospect of having black paint applied to their walls.
So when I stumbled upon these chalkboard wall decals while at the
art supply store the other day I pretty much jumped for joy!

especially love these decals that will fit on a kitchen cabinet...
So now I am torn - we are fairly close to purchasing a house so I could wait
& conceivably paint an entire room or at least a whole wall with chalkboard paint
or I could just go for it & satisfy my craving with any one of the above.
Hmmmmm-  or better yet maybe both!?

Check out the other chalkboard wallies here

I should be working on taxes.

But instead I am cruising through the J.Crew catalog
& checking out their website (bad wife, bad... tee hee hee)
Can I help it if they have so much cute stuff & that I regularly dream of J.Crew
just randomly deciding to send me all of their pieces just because?!
(ok who am I kidding, I'd be thrilled if they just sent me ONE thing)
Be sure to head on over here to check out all the fabulous New Arrivals...
Trust me -there are just too many swoon worthy pieces
for you not to head on over & see for yourself.

Vintage Finds.

Happy Monday lovelies
I spent the weekend photographing items & updating my Etsy shop
with some vintage items I picked up earlier in the week
on a trip to one of my favorite antique shops...
(I also conquered roasting chicken, making my own stock & a chicken pot pie a-la one of My New Years Resolutions)

What do you think?
Good picks or silly things no one would want?

To check out the rest of my vintage finds please head on over here
(PS- my handmade items will be listed SOON - promise)
