Happy.

Happy Monday!

Today this Whale Tissue Holder from
the shop Gnome Sweet Gnome is making me smile!
Wouldn't it be nice to be greeted by a smiley whale when you have the sniffles?
I think so... Plus it is available in plenty of other colors.

Oh & I'm still smiling from having had a stellar weekend...
The Baby Shower was FABULOUS!
We feel so blessed &  so loved, it is & was crazy awesome!

I hope to have photographs up shortly so you can check out all the details.
Trust me when I say, my Momma & Mother-in-law did such an amazing job
we were treated to lots of snazzy gifts from all the guests, it is like Christmas over here.
Seriously, we are SO blessed!

Theater Clouds.

I just discovered this wonderful print shop Theater Clouds...
Artist Elly MacKay makes the prints by inking yupo paper
& cutting it into layers that are set up in a miniature theater.
She then plays with the lights & filters to create
atmosphere & then photographs the scenes.

How awesome!
Plus the results are pretty magical, no?
I especially love this print... in fact, I may just have to buy it
or add it to my Christmas list at the very least.

To see how the whole process workshead on over here
& be sure to check out Elly's shop for more magical prints!

Sew! By Sam Made

She's been working on them for a while & has offered a few sneak peaks here
& there but the lovely Samantha from Sam Made & Post Grad Hair Cut has finished
& now has her awesome Sew! Sewing Kits for sale in her shop...

Hip hip hooray!

Head on over to the shop to grab your kit. You know you want one...
The first run is limited edition so there are only 40 kits up for grabs, so don't delay!

Oh & did I mention $5 from every purchase of a Sew! Sewing Kit will be loaned to Kiva!?
Sweet. In case you weren't aware Kiva is an organization that combines micro-financing
with the internet, allowing people to lend money directly to entrepreneurs in developing countries.

Nan Lawson.

I love me some Nan Lawson illustrations.
Especially the custom portraits she creates like these...
I am so super excited that our custom portrait complete
with Piper Dog & Sophie Cat will be arriving shortly!

I'd be remiss if I failed to mention that Nan also creates other illustrations as well.
For example I'm personally smitten with her Row Houses Pen & Ink piece.
Head on over to Nan's shop to check out the rest of her stuff
& if you are in the mood for even more of her talent
check out her photography print shop as well!

a. e. wilder.

So excited that I just discovered this lovely lil' etsy shop - a. e. wilder....
{ 1 } { 2 } { 3

So sweet & so simple, no?
I especially love how these pieces are created
in wooden hoops so you can hang them right away.

Plus did I mention each piece featured is able to be personalized?
What a sweet way to remember a special date like a
wedding day or baby's entrance into the world don't you think?
(I'll be ordering us a hoop soon to commemorate our wedding day- yay!)

Be sure to head on over to a. e. wilder's shop to check out even more pieces.

Monkeys Always Look.

I've been a BIG fan of Monkeys Always Look since I discovered the shop & the blog about a year ago.
When I first stumbled upon it, shop owner Allison was selling mostly succulents also known as
"hens & chicks" potted in really great vessels like vintage coffee cans & teeny tiny cups.
Now she also sells the most amazing
garden markers made of vintage silverware which I just LOVE...
Maybe it is just because I really love vintage silverware?
Or maybe it is because these are a bit quirky? Or maybe it is because I love lil' hidden messages?
Who cares really as to the specific how or why I love these because let's face it they are just simply awesome!
(& "The Original Vintage Silverware Garden Markers" on Etsy. Don't be fooled by imitators!)

Did I mention you can get personalized garden markers too? Fab!
Perfect for weddings, mother's day or just a sweet gift for someone special.

I'll definitely be purchasing several garden markers & maybe even a succulent or two- soon!
How about youBe sure to check out Monkeys Always Look, you will not be disappointed.

Peg & Awl.

One of my favorite things is taking bubble baths.
They are just so relaxing & wonderful. Especially when accompanied by a glass of wine, candles & a good book.
So of course when I stumbled upon this tub caddy I knew I had to share it & add it to my wish list...
Isn't it lovely?

Mmmm  & I feel a bit relaxed already just looking at those photographs...
Oh, did I mention the caddy is made of reclaimed wood from an old hardware store in Pennsylvania
& that the lovely shop owners of Peg & Awl will make a custom one just for your tub to ensure a perfect fit!?

Roll & Tumble Press.

Just like most girls I love fresh flowers, especially when sent by my Lovie.
However they are usually short lived as they die within a few days...
So, I'm thinking I'd much rather have one of these
fabulous prints from Roll & Tumble Press

Help Haiti.

Ever since the news broke of the earthquake in Haiti
I've been wondering "What can I do?"
Sure a dollar here & there donated on the back end of groceries
& such adds up when combined with everyone else who donates
but it just didn't seem like enough in the wake of such destruction...
Then today I found it - donate to specifically help provide clean drinking water!
Water is after all a very necessary thing for life is it?
So imagine not being able to get access to clean water to drink!?
Yikes. We are so lucky...
I am loving that Population Services International is partnering
with Network for Good to accept donations to provide
PUR Water Purifying Sachets  to create clean drinking water.

{ Via }

A single sachet only costs $0.10 a can purify up to 10 liters of water
So imagine, a $10.00 donation allows for 100 sachets...
which can result in 1000 liters of clean water!

---- > Please click HERE to donate < ----
(or on my new "Help Send Clean Water to Haiti" button over there --->)
PS- if you like these photos you can also head on over to Etsy
& purchase the photos... all proceeds go towards Haiti Relief.
