Happy weekend lovebugs!

I feel pretty darn satisfied with this week... 

I got A LOT of things done including enjoying a brief two hour period of literally every piece 
of clothing we own (including Baby Fry's) being clean & put away or in the washer or dryer. 

Well, except what we were wearing at the time of course!

Needless to say aside from some art projects to finish for the nursery

 & a few toiletries to pick up for my hospital bag, I am totally ready for 

Baby Fry to come any time she pleases - yay!

What do you have planned for this weekend?

The Husband & I have an Army function to attend tonight.

 He has to wear his dress blues which he always looks ridiculously handsome in

 & I have to wear a formal dress...  I'm going to attempt to do my hair like this.  (I hope it works out!)

It should be a good night out, sometimes it is fun to get all dressed up & fancy, no?

Other than that relaxing, breakfast out tomorrow at one of my fave spots with the family

& raking up the leaves in the yard will be on the "to do" list for the weekend.

As for us, we'll be attending a family reunion/wedding anniversary party of sorts for 

The Husband's side of the family.  I am kinda excited to meet some extended 

family members from my mother-in-law's side that even my father-in-law never has! 

We are also hoping to find out some really happy news from our close friends...

Happy (Memorial Day) Weekend.

Tis' Memorial Day on Monday so we will be spending 

the long weekend relaxing, organizing our place a bit more

 & tracking down an American flag & flag pole to hang off our front porch.

Oh & I almost forgot, we are having a mini BBQ with some good friends too!

As for me, yes, tis' true  as you may have read in previous posts, 

I am officially over the quarter century hill on Sunday. 

I'm no longer freaking out about it though

 & have actually decided it is pretty cool, 

thanks mostly to my best girl friend

 in the whole wide world, The SMB. 

(Thank you my, dear. I love you tons!)

 Plus as she pointed out, they often say that

 "Maturity & grace come with age..." 

So I'll take both with an extra dose of grateful on top too please.

(Since you can never have enough of any of those qualities in my humble opinion)

 As far as I am concerned, being closer to thirty 

is the new I can't wait till I turn twenty-one!

Tomorrow is officially the First Day of Spring...

Last year The Sister-in-Law & I went a bit crazy & went to umm- 9 locations to grab our free ice. 

I know what you are thinking, we didn't eat it all that day... we brought a cooler!

As for us, I don't think we have any... 

The Husband said to me the other day-

"I don't think we should spend money on each other this year."

 & when I said "oh" in a kinda sad way, he said- 

"Don't be sad, I'm gonna buy you a house for Valentine's day!"
